A Family Dream Built With Love in Utah
Akasha Bengals is not just a cattery, it is a family dream that grew out of love, learning, and a deep respect for this breed. We are a family of four, raising our Bengal kittens in our home in West Haven, Utah, alongside our two daughters. Our kittens grow up surrounded by family life, affection, and daily interaction, which plays a huge role in shaping their confidence and temperament.
Breeding Bengal cats has been a dream of mine for many years, and it would not be possible without the full support of my husband. He is deeply involved in our program and personally handles transportation for our kittens when they go out of state, ensuring they arrive safely and calmly to their new homes. Keeping our kittens safe and stress free during travel is extremely important to us, and we prefer to be hands on rather than trusting that responsibility to someone who does not know our kittens the way we do.
Early on, we experienced a difficult situation with a kitten that taught us an important lesson. That experience shaped the way we do things today and solidified our commitment to never cutting corners. From that point on, we made the decision to hold ourselves to a higher standard in every part of our breeding program, from health testing and nutrition to placement and transportation.
Because of this, we intentionally keep our cattery small and focused. Every decision we make is guided by what is best for our kittens, both physically and emotionally. We believe that raising Bengal kittens responsibly means taking the extra time, care, and effort to do things the right way.
Our family is proud to raise Bengal kittens in Utah with love, patience, and integrity. We are grateful to share this journey together and to place our kittens in homes where they will be cherished as much as they are here.
